Banderas married her husband Andrew J. Sansone on 29 August 2009 at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Her husband is a member of the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity and the founding president of both Old Rock Media and Big Apple Channel.
He proposed to Banderas with a message-in-a-bottle that he pretended to discover on the beach while calm and digging on Long Island Sound.
Banderas announced their engagement during an episode of America’s Election Headquarters on 21 September 2008.
